The last stop we made on our cruise was the Maya ruins in Belize. There were lots of big and tall temples. We climbed to the top of the tallest one. We had a tour all to our self. We went in the rain Forest. Grandma was scuba diving when we were there. She dove to 75 feet and said it was amazing to see all the beautiful coral and colorful fish. We all had a good time and a good experience.

Kid's Fun

On the cruise there was a Circle C activities group. I met a new friend and we had a good time together. In one picture all the kids from the group are in it. In the other one the leaders and I are in Frankenstein's lab. It was fun to play with some kids my own age.

Panama

On the cruise we went to Panama. We saw the Gatun Locks in the Panama Canal and watched the locks open and close. After that we went to the beach; the water was warm. We had so much fun. We went over, under, and throw the waves.

Cruise

We went on a cruise for 8 days. In one picture my friend and I are with the captain. Next is Katie and me with our food server. We had a good time on the cruise. There was a slide and lots of activities.

Find The Manatees

In this pitcher can you find the Manatees? There are three of them; They are hiding. We went to a natural springs and saw lots of Manatees. They come there for the warm water. If the water gets too cold they will die. we saw an Alligator. We also saw lots of fish and birds.

Epcot

When we were at Patty and Dennis' we went to Epcot Center. Here is a photo of Katie & I wearing the masks that we were given in Mexico(at Epcot). We got a charm on our masks at each country we visited.
The next photo is Katie & I in frout of Test Track ~ a very fast car ride. It rained all day while we were at Epcot. We got very wet but had fun because there were no lines.

Mr. Tux Show

When we were at Pat and Lou's we went to see Mr. Tux's show ( Mr tux is the cat in the photo). He did a lot of things like Jump over a fence, rock on a rocking horse, jump through a hoop, and much more. This is a picture of the tux team with Katie and me. I've never seen a cat perform an act. It was so cool.

We rode around outside on a Trolly for a tour of other airplanes they are restoring. This is one of the Blue Angels. On the right we are pretending to fly a plane. Several of the planes in this museum used to be on the bottom of Lake Michigan. During WWII they used Lake Michigan to train the pilots how to land and take off of carriers. Many planes ended up in the lake, but most of the pilots were rescued! This place is amazing.

PENSECOLA NAVY AIR MUSEUM, FLORIDA

This was more fun than NASA. Huge building packed with planes of all ages with guides to tell great stories about the planes. We saw an IMAX showing the Blue Angels train and fly. We enjoyed this so much we came back the next day for more.

THE JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH

To the left is the Natural Entrance where we started our journey to the center of the earth, not really, but it seemed like it as we walked and walked, down and down. We went down 800 feet. To the right is Katie and I with our lanterns on the left hand tunnel tour. That helps us see what it was like to be the first explorer in the caves. The caves were not made by water, like most caves. It was made by Sulfuric Acid that ate away the rock and made it look like swiss cheese and created huge rooms. We did tours for 3 days and loved being in the caves.

KARTCHNER CAVERNS

These things look like string, but are actually rock. They also are formed by drips of water and are hollow in the center. That is why they are called soda straws. There is one in these caves that is 21 feet long.
We also saw a huge formation called Kubla Kahn. It really was amazing. We are having fun on our trip and learning many things. We do our home school in our trailer in all these different places.

TUCSON

We are in Tucson visiting our cousins. While we were here we took a trip to Kartchner caverns and went on a tour. It was really fun and we learned a lot about caves and how they were formed. All these shapes were created by drips of water over many many years.

JUMBO ROCK

Here we are at our campground called Jumbo Rock. You can see why it has that name! Katie and I loved climbing on the big rocks. We went on a hike to a huge rock called skull rock because it looked just like someone's skull.

JOSHUA TREE

We are now at Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California. The park is named after the Joshua Tree on the right. The Mormon Pioneers named this tree because it made them think of Joshua with his arms high in the air before he made the walls of Jerico fall down.

FIRST STOP - AVILA BEACH

We decided to begin our adventure close to home just in case we forgot something important. It was beautiful at Avila and we hated to leave.
We went on the hike to the lighthouse and biked the wonderful trail that runs from the freeway to the beach.
