These things look like string, but are actually rock. They also are formed by drips of water and are hollow in the center. That is why they are called soda straws. There is one in these caves that is 21 feet long.
We also saw a huge formation called Kubla Kahn. It really was amazing. We are having fun on our trip and learning many things. We do our home school in our trailer in all these different places.

ReplyDeleteIf you love caves and all you're learning you need to go to Timpanogos Caves if you're ever around Salt Lake City, Utah. It's one of my favorites and is amazing as well. (worth a trip) looks like you are all having an amazing time.
